This brief video looks at how we can respond when we’re stressed, our stress responses: how we can feel, how we respond emotionally, what we may do differently and how it can affect us physically.

The idea here is for us to consider and reflect on how the physical, mental, emotional and behavioural responses are inter-related, and what this means for us and how we ourselves may react.  

A vicious cycle of responses can establish itself, but conversely, we can turn this into a virtuous cycle, where, having identified our unhelpful response, we deal with the stressor differently and/or we think in more helpful ways. Thankfully, as it’s a cycle, a more helpful response in one area is likely to impact beneficially on all of the areas.
